Tape It - pages 5 and 6

These pages aren't complete, but I thought I'd show you the first steps. I've caught up now and am awaiting Sarah's instructions of what to put on the pages.
First the page was prepared with print, gesso and journalling. Then we stuck tape all over; foil tape, insulation tape, masking tape and sticking plaster. Everything then had to be sanded - you might be able to see I've done the right hand page.Next, dry gesso, followed by paint.
And finally sand it all again. The foil tape shows through quite nicely after the sanding.

I'm aiming to work on this on alternate days so I can do a challenge or two in between.

Super Duper !!!! Linda you are making the most beautiful journal. What a great challenge!

Your pages are "magnifique" Linda. I love your backgrounds and doodling.

Back again soon to see what you've been up to (I've got more work to do on my inchies page and have just finished my soul armour page!).

So glad you joined in... your journal is going to be amazing.

the exercises alone are very helpful, but visiting everyone else's blog and seeing the lovely work there is such a pleasure too.

Dirty Dancing is great and even thought my boyfriend said he hated it I knew he secretly loved it. He kept asking what was going on cause he'd missed the begining lmao! xxx
