Here are my attempts; I was lucky enough to find some vintage cutlery pieces at The Beetroot Tree Gallery but I also aim to visit some car boot sales and hopefully collect more for future projects.
This is a tiny mustard spoon with wire, gems, a charm and a bird in a nest. I coloured some of the spoon with alcohol inks.
I bent back the prongs of the fork with pliers and added a butterfly, some gems, a charm - and Mona!
Over the past few weeks I've been involved in lots of ATC and bookmark swaps and I want to thank everyone who joined in with me - they are all beautiful.
I did get one rather unusual swap though ........ a little shoe in exchange for a bookmark!!! I love it, thank you Andrea!
and here
you'll see some more....
I'll be thinking of you all - I promise!
Have a great weekend.....

MOna never looked lovelier than on your spoon. I really like that piece and the bent prongs is perfect. Did you have to use a special glue? That shoe is awfully cute?? :-)
Linda your new pieces are stunning. Fantastic design and brilliant work. Love them all.

(I popped over to see your altered cutlery a bit closer.)
I just adore your Mona Lisa and the little mustard spoon is wonderful.

Love that little shoe!! Your cutlery is fab Linda! I have been collecting spoons for a while now, but forks have eluded me. Having said that, I really love your Mona, so I expect I'll be trying that too! =)
Mum looks so happy with her I-pod! and your PW collages are outstanding... really beautiful.

Your mum is lovely! I still have mine too. Lucky us!
I shall be a faithful reader of your blog from now on. I like your work. I recently found a wee fork. mmmm, I wonder what I'll do with it...
Also I have been collecting photos of houses I have liven in and was wondering what how to put them together in a memory. Your banner gives me a great idea! Thanks
I have a cool mobile hanging outside that's made from forks like yours. Soak up a little sun for me, OK? We awoke to another dusting of snow this morning. Where oh where is Spring?
Linda how cute is that little shoe? What a lovely surprise that must have been.
Gorgeous art with the altered cutlery and I love how you have used the alcohol inks.
Enjoy your break in the sun....

I've only just discovered your blog via Rosie's and Maureen's. I love altered art and your cutlery and bird houses on earlier posts are so lovely. Glad your Mum had a good birthday and hope your Dad is contented. My Mum is 101 and in a home - she too has dementia but seems reasonably happy. I love your work and will try and remember how to find you again.
I love how you altered your cutlery - especially the delicacy of the curliques. Works so beautifully with the butterfly wings and Ms. Mona.
Lovely cutlery, especially what you did with Mona!
Ohh I am in love with your art , the shoe is awfully .You are a big talent .
