More Suzi Blu 'Pretty Girls'

Suzi calls these our 'pretty girls' - not sure thats a good term for some of mine!!!
Well here are my efforts anyway, warts and all. We have been told to just practise faces. I'm using pencil and watercolour crayons. On Monday we're learning how to combine collage with our pictures - I'm looking forward to that.
First of all here are my alien girls - especially the last one!
Next three.....a slight improvement I think

I'm growing quite fond of the last two. I can see the faults - which is good! (I won't list them; you can work them out for yourself).

Right - I must go and do my bookmarks for Sarah Whitmire's swap. I'll show you later.

Thanks for all the kind comments and support you're giving me!

Love Linda xx

Hi Linda, I love the one with the flower in her hair, so innocent looking. Thats my favourite. You are doing a remarkable job, I can see this course will be one you enjoy and you will move onto greater projects with all the new skills you develop. It will bring your talent out even more. Well done, I cant wait to see what you do next, Jaqi x

Linda, you are OBVIOUSLY garnering lots of knowledge from Suzi's class. I like what you're sharing.
Some day when I'll return to a professional life, I'll take a Suzi class. For now, spending time with my 92 y.o. mom and making sure she continues to live independently in her own home, for as long as possible is my priority. Keep posting your art - it really is FAB!

You are doing a fantastic job. I have a long weekend ahead of me and I plan on catching up. I have a LOT of catching up to do.

I look forward to seeing YOUR travel journal. I'm sure it will be very inspiring. I have a dozen more pages to post. I'm happy to hear that you enjoy reading my posts. I'm building my confidence as a writer.

When do you leave for your trip?

These just excite me especially when I get to see your progress because I am very apprehensive about drawing...a throwback from my school days no doubt. Wonderful work on your pretty girls. Your soul journal is just fascinating to me....what a project.

Hello, Linda! Your blog is fabulous and when I saw that you were also taking Suzi Blu's class, I just had to comment! You are doing a great job! I just began doing the lessons last night, starting with the eye placement graph. Today I have worked on the healing art journal and NEXT, I hope to get the gesture drawings and paper doll completed! I had a busy last week that has kept me from the art fun....loving this 3 day weekend! Missy :)

Be filled with Wonder and Peace.....and Cosiness

I hope you're managing to embrace this change of season. I'm so much better at accepting the end of summer than I used to be. I&...
