SOUL JOURNAL - collage pages 3 and 4

These are pages 3 and 4 of the six collage pages we have done (the 'finger pages'). I really must leave them alone now because they have driven me a bit crazy. I have gessoed over them so many times and re:done parts of them that I discovered lots of interesting layers when I scratched through the nails!!

I'm happy that I've played around them though - I've learnt a lot about techniques. and other stuff .....ie who am I trying to please with these pages?
The answer is me. (I just struggle with that a bit, but I'm getting there.....)

Linda these pages are divine! I think from gesso'g over them and changing bits like you have done has created such depth and layers and charm.

I've ticked to box so perhaps you can e-mail now? Something else I don't really understand? Can you tell me how I get Sarah's instructions? I'd love to get started on some journal pages for next time i take a break.

These are gorgeous pages. I like them better than mine! This always happens to me. I go looking at others and they look way better than mine that I want to go back and start over. Last night I posted an altered mirror. Swing by, check it out.

These pages are fabulous! I realy like the depth of them. I wish I could do that. I'm not good at thinking outside the box. You are so inspiring. But, I need talent to go with it. GIggle!

Surprising what you find when you scratch the surface so the multilayered layers are a metaphor for lots of things.

WUNderful!

I love how you have scratched through the layers Linda... really effective!
I am a bit slow on my pages (all in different stages of being finished). Just finishing off what I call my hand page at the moment so will post that page soon.
I am absolutely loving your journal pages, they are so inspirational.
