My First Skinny

Well I've really struggled to produce anything today - I've thrown loads of 'bodged' efforts in the bin! But I've persevered and done a challenge. This is the Skinny Saturday challenge http://skinnysaturdays.blogspot.com/ and the theme this week is 'When we were young.....'
The photo is of me at school and the writing at the bottom is copied from a letter I wrote to my uncle Lou in Canada, telling him I was going to be a bridesmaid. I was 5 at the time and absolutely loved school...hence all the hearts!Incredibly, my uncle saved the letter and gave it back to me a couple of years ago.

Well, I can't wait to have my thumb sorted out at the docs tomorrow....its starting to smell like liver (sorry, thats probably too much information).
Love Linda xx

That is a beautiful ATC Inspite of your hand being injured you have created such a lovely ATC. I love the picture of you as a little girl and looks like you must have been your uncle's favourite niece as he has kept the card all these years.

How lovely that he kept that letter all those years, and even more lovely that you got to have it back again, to keep forever. Hope the finger is getting a bit better, Jaqi x

Linda, this is a beautiful skinny. And what a very pretty picture of you! I also really like your bridesmaids drawing. How special. Your uncle was so wonderful to keep it for so many years. Obviously, you are very special to him.

Your skinny is gorgeous Linda. Im so hopeless at skinnies but you seem to have a good eye for the detail that go into them.
How is the thunb? Is it feeling better? Just keep it clean as you dont want infection to set in.
