Garden Journal Update

I've been making lots of little bits and pieces to go in my garden journal. Here are a few pics.......

As you can probably see I've used fabric, lace, paper, threads, machine and hand-stitching, pressed flowers, buttons, sari ribbons and dyed scrim.
The words on the last picture are from The Flower Duet (Delibes). This is one of my favourite pieces of music. Here's a great version with Katherine Jenkins and Kiri Te Kanawa........enjoy.
Two posts today.....hope you can stay to the end and have a look at my birthday treats below!

It must be a sign of my brand new age if I can be totally uplifted by that stunning duet but still appreciate good ol rock n roll!

Happy belated birthday!!!!! Your wrinkles in your lovely hat look wonderful, at least you'll be safe ;) The other gifts were fab.

I am so inspired by your garden journal. This & a few others I've seen & an article in an '05 CPS about Frances Pickering might help get me started, I really must!

Hi Linda,
Thanks for your comment on my blog, Bobby was a lovely dog with a lovely mischevious streak, the worst bit is knowing when it's time to say goodbye.
I only had him for two years and I miss him lots.
