Using my digital art....

Just playing with my digital art today...have made a few mixed-media collages. This is the only one that's finished.....more to come! The background is waxed paper (kitchen towel and inks), the pink strip is made up of fabric, threads and Mistyfuse, the flowers are metal (cut with a punch) and I have sewn beads in the centre of my digital picture. Pink flower free, courtesy of Wiki Commons.

Still making Lotus Flower Books....this the 8th and its 2" square. I drew on a piece of metal (inside of tomato puree tube) for the embellishment, added alcohol ink and rubbed on treasure wax. The tiny word is from a Tim Holtz Distressables strip. Underneath is a layer of Angelina.Just made a few more papers for the class I'm taking! (I really must stop now - I don't think there's that many people attending :-)

Hope you're having a lovely day.....its gorgeous and sunny here in Derbyshire!

Fabulous artwork, just wonderful. I really want to pick it up, feel it and run off with it :) Only joking I'm not a bad person but your work is just so scumptious. Loving your lotus books as well. I'll check out your class and see if I'm free as I would love to be able to make anything close to the ones you've put on your blog :)

Thanks for sharing, wish I could come to your class too...one day.
I want to make some felt beads, have some Merino tops, are these suitable?

OMG Linda, words can't express how I feel about your amazing artwork! I wish I was your next door neighbour so I could watch you creating in the hope some of your glorious talent would rub off on me!!!! I'd be dropping by for a spoon of sugar one day, a cup of milk the next, a teabag another day and of course I'd be wishing you weren't thinking of moving out just because of me, lol.

Linda, your mixed media collage is absolutely beautiful, and your papers are to die for. Do you use water color paper to make them, then turn them into the little books? They are beautiful :)
I hope we can create together some day when you come visit...wishful thinking :)
