The colours on these photos are not good, sorry. The light has been so bad over the past few days I've had problems photographing this. The girl in the middle?........Thats a school photo of me. The photographer was probably saying smile.
SOUL JOURNAL
For the Soul Journal prompt (no:16) Kathryn asked us to find our defining words, stick them onto a journal page and doodle around them. "Pull out those magazines and quickly flip through. Don't look at the images, focus rather on the words. Don't think about what you are picking out just tear or cut out words that resonate with you".
I've decided I need to let go of certain things this year so I'm also choosing the word release .
And my shoulders will be a good place to start - they've kept my ears warm for too long!!

What a lovely post, I can see that little school photo is you, you havent changed much and still have the same smile.
I think you were born to make Soul Journals you always do such a great job. The Black and White cover is stunning, and 'Release' is such a fantastic word to start the year with. You are such an Inspiration to so many people , and you have inspired me to release some things myself.
The blank Journals with a decorated cover make lovely gifts. I believe that your smiling stone has been an inspiration to you an you are lucky to have found it. Well done Linda , you have had an amazing year craft wise and I cant wait to see how you grow this year you always manage to make your work look so gorgeous, Jaqi x

I love your zentangles and soul journal pages. checked out your blog and its wonderful. you are fantastic. looking forward to checking back with you more often.
I love your special stone, made for you by nature.
GREAT page and what a mona lisa smile you've got in that picture - I wonder if that little girl had any who she would become - do any of us? Great page.
I smiled to myself about the smile because, years ago, I found myself frowning all the time so I stuck notes on all the household items and doors saying 'SMILE' and do you know - it worked!
I hope you can release some of the tensions and manage more of your smiles!

Your soul journal is wonderful Linda, I love the images you have chosen.
And Zentangles...unbeknowst to me I have been doing zentangles for ages (and of course didnt even realise it). Every time I sit at the computer I have my piece of paper and black pen and just doodle away...repeat patterns, word etc. I must start keeping them. Thanks for the link.
Love your word... release! Quite a cathartic, freeing word.
Both great pieces, i love that you used a pic of yourself in your word sign, and the edging looks fab too.
