Happiness is.......

...........stitching my 'Spirit Cloth' in a sunny conservatory.

( still not quite finished)

............playing with Peachy outside in the garden. (He likes 'hide and seek').

.........looking for signs of Spring. (Chives, camelia and hydrangea)
.........receiving lots of emails, messages and gifts from thoughtful friends. (Thank you all VERY much.)
.........playing on my new Janome embellishing machine  which I treated myself to last week.

front.....................and back (which I've chosen to work on)

.........doing a bit of Photoshop editing.

.........and chilling out in my art room at the end of the day with him.

Hope you all had a lovely day today....... :-)

I can't believe you have signs of Spring, although it always comes earlier in the U.K doesn't it?

I love the colors and textures in your woven piece, and all the stitching too. Your embellisher piece is great, two sides, what a great aspect of this technique. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next, also what I come up with next;-) Give that Peaches a smooch from me.

Loving your spirit cloth - I am very interested in this course - is it still running?

Peachy is the image of a cat of mine from the 1980's - Jamie. He is very cute indeed!

Have fun with the embellisher - I have never used one - are they difficult?

Sounds like you are getting back on track lovely girl? How nice it is to have a cuddly man in your life - Peachy that is. Isn't he growing up to be a handsome chap? Have got a severe case of embellisher envy ... unless you let me come and play with it? Then I'll probably be absolutely GREEN and probably have to sneak it back home in my handbag!

What a lovely colourful and cheering post Linda! Your 'Slow Cloth' is looking beautiful. And how did Peachey get in that box? :-) Cats get into the strangest places to sleep.

Hi, Linda! The spirit cloth is beautiful! And I love your digital art. Summer Memories is so soft and lovely!

Peachy is so cute! How is it that cats can make it look like they are comfortable sleeping anywhere? Even with your chin hanging over the edge of a plastic box? We have one that sleeps over a 2x4 and makes it look like it is a feather bed! :-)

What a gorgeous post Linda. I really like the reverse of the embellished piece, the blending becomes so subtle. Looks like that is yet another box he is about to grow out of - give him a tickle from me.
