Its a wonderful day.....

We're having some wonderful weather in England at the moment....I can't believe how warm it is! Hope you're managing to make the most of it..... :-)
I'm awaiting news from Kim Klassen; I joined her 'Test Kitchen' and the digital fun starts today.
Whilst I'm waiting I'm playing with PSE...the above piece is from a photo I took at Hidcote Manor Gardens. I used various textures, some free ones from the very generous Jerry at Shadowhouse Creations  plus PSE filters and a clipping mask from Kim.
Here's the original....

Do you think Kim's up yet...... ?

Lovely photo Linda. Isn't that just the worst thing about doing something online from the USA - we are up so much earlier than they are!

Ha ha it is hard waiting isn't it? Good luck with the new class. Can't wait to see what you will create next. I think I may one day get myself into some digital art. My daughter keeps trying to show me things but I am hopeless.
I am glad you liked Kat Wise too, I must see if I can chance the link to take you direct to her Etsy shop but it sounds like you have more of an idea how to get there than me. Anyway enjoy your class and it was lovely to hear from you Linda.

Hope by now you are busy with your class. It has been very mild lately however here we have had fair bit of rain, but today it has been a glorious day.

I went a-wandering from this post following all those lovely links to photoshop treats. Finally I got back here to leave a comment! I've been out and about taking photos at gardens too and then gleefully playing with them in photoshop. Great fun isn't it! Love what you did with this. I have a real soft spot for hydrangeas so especially love what you did with your banner.

So pretty, LInda. It makes me wish my pink hydragea didn't turn blue!

I am loving what you have done with this photo Linda :) Great use of the textures there.
I have been fiddling about in PSE most of today too, but it was dark and cloudy here, although I am very happy to hear you are having nice weather for a change:)

I don't think anything beats one's own photos to use in digital collage art. This is gorgeous Linda- perfect composition!

Lovely photo Linda. Thanks for introducing me to Shadowhouse Creations - what wonderful free textures. I had, however, seen some of his work as Skeletal Mess on Flickr I discovered.

I already get Kim Klassen's freebie newsletter and was wondering about the Test Kitchen. Maybe I will join up too. Enjoy!
