Digital Trickery and Videos for Dot

A bit of digital trickery.......beads, stitching and flowers all done by Photoshop! What a cheat. (The silk paper is real though :-)
Not content with that....here are some other colourways!

Here's the original.......I've been making silk paper for a mixed-media collage class coming up soon. I like this piece so much I may actually use it for a (real) stitched landscape.

A few more pieces......

I'll try to get a collage completed in the next couple of days to show what I aim to do with them.

I promised my friend  Dot some video clips of Peachy and as I can't send them by email I will post them here.
Here he is trying to wreck the bead curtain in our conservatory .....

and in this one he's fighting with his toy cat. See what he does in the last couple of seconds! He's a cheeky boy........

And finally.......showing off his pink accessories.
Ah well, after a visit to the vets in a few weeks time I don't suppose it will really matter......

You sure are a wizard with PHotoshop, Linda! Your kitty is SO cute; they are little dickens, aren't they? Thankfully, they seem to grow out of it.....sort of.

Lovely silk paper and that is such an easy way to sew and bead. You do realise that you have the perfect playstation for a kitten in the beaded curtain. I think the attack at the end of the second video is you getting your come-uppance for having the temerity to take a photo of him performing his toilet!

Well I did try to watch the videos but it was a tricky with my own cat sitting in front of the screen!!

Love what you did with those poppy seed heads by the way. Photoshop is so wonderful - you can create art and not even get messy, great stuff!

I think this is wonderful and there is no such thing as cheating- how more creative could you be- digital is just another technique of expression. Just beautiful Linda!

Love your trickery and silk papers - the colours are gorgeous. Peachy is adorable - at least he knows how to use his accessories! The videos are great and so is his personality already.

Silk paper now Linda? I am loving it sooooo much, where can I learn this technique?
Nice PS trickery but your real handy work is much better :)

As for Peachy, well... does he ever stop? He does look rather cute but I would worry he could swallow one of those beads on your door. Be careful.
So are you learning to do video's now?

Oh that lil chap is just ADORABLE. I really want another cat but am having trouble persuading my man. I'll wear him down eventually.

I love this wotsit you have made and can't imagine how you did it, but think it beautiful.

What a lovely, lovely post Linda! Love your silk paper (digital and undigital). And look forward to seeing some of it in a stitched landscape (how gorgeous that would be).
Thank you for sharing video's of gorgeous Prince Peachy. He is so adorable and full of beans. Laughed out loud at him playing with the beaded curtain. He is definitely a kitty in touch with his ' feminine' side with his pink gear. Give him a kiss on the nose from me.

Another art blogger with a new kitten! That makes three counting me and another blog I follow - http://moredoors.blogspot.com/
What's going on! Peachy is a beautiful kitten. I adopted two kittens, one of which is orange and white and started out being called Peach, but that morphed into "Petey" a cross between Peachy and Sweety because she is such a loveable kitten. Her sister is an orange tabby with no tail. I have taken lots of pictures and videos and posted some on my blog. I love the one where Peach jumped at you. I laughed out loud. So cute!
