Hearts

Our challenge this week on http://bigartadventure.blogspot.com/ is to create a piece of art with a milagros heart on it.
I needle-felted both of my hearts and made the pink one into a little quilt .

The second one I mounted onto organza then metal. The patterns on the metal were made using tools from Ten Second Studios (bought from LBCrafts.)

Thanks to you I am now a firm believer in needle-felting!! How quick and easy it is! I kept going back again and again adding bits n stuff, and the pieces I made have no beads - yet!!
I even got Sally at the Scrapstore to order me some rovings!!
I do so love what you did with both of your pieces - the organza and metal is especially beautiful!

Your hearts are beautiful, I love them, so tactile.
I hope your dad is settling into his new nursing home, it sounds such a lovely setting and I am sure you and the family will feel better knowing he is in a nicer home.
That snow!!! You be careful on the roads (I like the sound of that gallery you are working at).

Take care and lots of love,
